Guests

Hello gingers! So my summer is about to get a little bit eventful because some of my family is coming over for the holiday.

The holiday, being the 4th of July, being Independence Day for the folks in America. I like to be blog equally for anybody in any country ever in the world. It may be hard if you don't know English though.

I was going to try to translate that whole thing into Spanish but copy and paste was not happening. Sorry my Spanish-speaking amigos.

But anyway, things have been pretty hectic around here considering that we have to get a bunch of cleaned and ready for the guests to arrive. We also have to handle three 10 year old boys which is a lot of work, even for an older sister.

So we are busy yet I'm still trying to find time to mine. Minecraftia.

So that's pretty much it for today.

Maybe I Should Get A Dream Journal

Hello gingers! I never remember my dreams but when I do they are the weirdest things in the entire world.

You may know, but everybody dreams, every single night. Some of you may not believe that but it's true. It's just a matter if you remember your dreams every night or not.

You are basically one of three people: people who remember their dreams every night, people who occasionally remember their dreams, and people who never remember their dreams.

Fun fact: The average dream lasts 2-3 seconds.

I am a person who occasionally remembers their dreams. It's every once in a while when I remember what I have dreamed, and when I do, it's usually when I'm dreaming in the morning. It's usually the dream I have before I'm about to wake up. And this morning, my dream was kind of wild.

So I'm going to start off by saying that I'm pretty sure my dreamscape was Pokemon. We were in the land of Pokemon and it was crazy. I'm pretty sure it was also like a survival type thing though too. And I had a partner that I can't remember. We had just collected some raspberries and we were going to find a safe place to go eat them because our health bars were low. But all of the sudden, out of the blue, Onix started chasing me. We had this huge chase scene and at the end I knocked this huge shelf on top of him. Everything was destroyed like a regular chase scene. And then Professor McGonagall, the house leader of Gryffindor in Harry Potter, started yelling at me. I don't know if she deducted any House points.

So that's what my dream was about. I know it was really weird. But it's always when I remember my dreams that they are really weird. What do you dream about?

Keep On Playing Pokemon,

Addressing Haters

Hello gingers! I'm pretty sure I have acquired a hater, and I'd like to talk about haters today.

So I made a video a while back called "The Less-Explicit Jenna Marbles" It received quite a bit of hate because it wasn't actually Jenna Marbles, and some people didn't understand that I was acting like Jenna Marbles, and some people just didn't like it. Understandable. It was a crappy, crappy video. It was so ridiculously bad. I can admit that.

I was able to deal with the haters, and it really wasn't that hard. The video was stupid so it was going to get a lot of hate. But one hater is particular was kind of gettin' me down.

Hello ChicoUser. I don't know if you read my blogs or not but hi! I'm still getting mixed signals though. She was commenting hate on a couple of my videos but she liked one of my videos and then she subscribed to me. I don't know if the subscription was to get notified whenever an opportunity arose to hate but maybe she enjoyed some of my videos. I really don't know.

But I'd like to take this opportunity of my own to talk about haters.

Haters are going to hate, without fail. So I guess I was expecting it and you should too.

Haters most often just hate because they have nothing better to do. I mean why were they watching my videos? Because they had nothing better to do. And they didn't like what they saw, and instead of just moving on like I usually do they decided to tell me they didn't like it. That's totally cool.

I really don't mind that.

You see, the species of haters are very closely related to the ignoramus. They really just don't care, and it's a pretty rapid spreading disease.

NOT COOL BRO.

Just chill all you haters out there. It's fun to be in a position of "power" isn't it? But cool your jets. Stop hatin'

That's all I really have to say on this matter. And don't spread the disease by going and hating on other people. No one deserves it.

Look At Me! I Can Stack Rocks!

Hello gingers! IT'S A LOT HARDER THAN IT LOOKS, OKAY?

So I don't really know why but I was thinking about those guys who stack rocks in Santa Monica. They do them like all the time and they're everywhere and I have always thought that it was really cool. Granted, I have never seen them in real life but they look pretty awesome in pictures.

So I was thinking about them in my back yard and I decided to build my own out of the rocks I had. It was pretty late at night (and dark) at this point. But I started stacking rocks. And pretty much all of them failed.

But today I went outside and I tried it again. And about 2 hours or something like that later, I got something that worked. It took a lot of work and effort but the key is to not get stressed.

And I got some pretty cool pictures of it.

Pretty cool right? Try to imagine how much work that took. Too bad, you won't be able to imagine it.

My dog knocked it over once, the wind knocked it over once. It was terrible but I finally got it.

And because I'm this "deep thinker" I started thinking that stacking rocks is a metaphor for life.

You make one wrong move that you think is harmless and the whole thing will fall over. Except the first couple of rocks. Your foundation and your base will never fall over with you. They only make it easier to start building again. If you get frustrated, you're never going to get it right. But if you just focus and work hard, you will make it to the top.

And it's all about balance. It's about making sure it's stable before you put another rock on top. Balancing everything that is going on to make it successful. You have to learn how to turn the rocks to make it stand on top of the rock below it.

And just being awesome. Don't forget to just be awesome.

The Fandom's I'm Not Involved In

Hello gingers! It makes me sad when I'm not involved in some nerdy thing that everybody else is involved in.

I just feel left out of the conversations. But mainly, I just don't get the jokes that YouTubers make sometimes.

And I got Netflix yesterday.

Brain processing.

I CAN WATCH LORD OF THE RINGS ON NETFLIX.

That's the main one I want to get under my belt. Especially with The Hobbit coming out this December. Then I can be all caught up and I can laugh when youtuber makada funny.

The other main one is Zelda. I haven't played any Zelda games, or anything. So that's also on my list. Then I can laugh when people make funny parodies with Zelda.

That's pretty much it. I get Mario, Harry Potter, and a lot of other things I just can't think of right now. Like The Hunger Games. Even though I haven't seen the movie yet. I know, I'm a failure of life.

That's it. This blog was kind of a fail.

Brave

Hello gingers! If you had the chance to change your fate, would you?

I know that was really cheesy but I had to do it. I'm falling in love with Disney again.

So as you may have guessed, I saw Brave today and it was awesome. You cannot tell anybody how ridiculously excited I was for this movie. I was scaring my mom I was so excited to see it.

The main character is a cute ginger from Scotland! How was I NOT supposed to see it?!

Disney is doing some great things. With the whole Monsters University thing, and Wreck It Ralph. These look like great movies that I'm going to die over and then I see them and I'm gonna cry and it's gonna be the best freaking movie I've ever seen. Because Disney, is like that. And nothing can stop it.

NOTHING.

What Do You Say When You Have Nothing To Say?

Hello gingers! The answer to the question above is ALWAYS one thing.

Nothing.

If you have nothing to say please whatever you do, do not say something. In the event you want to say something but you really have nothing to say, just keep your trap shut.

Why? Because when you start saying things that do not have any point to being said and you just want to hear yourself talk, then you spread this little disease called ignorancitis.

It sprouts from the common ignoramus who felt like they were just gonna start talking even if nothing in the specific situation cued them to open their mouth and use their vocal cords to create speech and talk about something they don't know about.

What really is ignorancitis? Ignorancitis is spread from the speech of the ignoramus to another ignoramus who will then spread it further by using their speech. The information that comes out of the speech is the infection that plants seeds in the brain of the next ignoramus.

And the disease starts spreading.

After the seed of ignorance has been placed in many different ignoramus', the information will leak out of the seed and into the ignoramus' brain. They will then share that information that is completely incorrect or not proven true and being intolerant to believe otherwise.

Ignorance, people. Ignorance.

So please, do not talk when you have nothing to say. Thank you.

But then again, why do I blog?

Keep On Not Talking,
Rachael The Ginger

Hawaii!

Hello gingers! I've been talking about a bunch of deep emotional CRAP lately so I thought I would share my vacation with you!

We flew out to the island of Kauai and it's really humid! It's basically a big jungle at the top of the island, and city life at the bottom surrounded by ocean if you can picture that. Oh, and just a side note, there are chickens EVERY WHERE.

They're wild chickens that just have the run of the place. You are legally allowed to hunt them but nobody really does. They know their place on the island.

We played in the ocean, and we saw some things. The interesting thing to me was that when we would go to a museum, or a landmark type of thing where here, would be heavily protected and profited from, was completely out in the open. I wonder if that made sense.

For example when we went to the Kauai Museum there were signs not to touch things but it wasn't really that protected. Nothing would really stop you from touching anything.

And we went to these caves that was seriously nothing. It was the cave. No admission to get in the park where it was. Nothing to block you off from going inside the cave. We could've gone really far back but we didn't because it's completely out in the open.

It's just interesting because the people are really laid back there so I guess they don't really care.

It rubbed off on me a little. DUDE.

We saw lot's of cool birds and plants. And we ate a lot of exotic fruit which was really, really good. My favorite fruit is guava. Without a doubt.

And of course, the luau. It was really fun. We ate a lot of good food and the show was really cool.

Firedancers. Nuff said.

And now to finish off the blog just some pictures of nature and playing in the sun.

When I Feel Professional, I Feel Great

Hello gingers! I lost my shark tooth necklace I got when I was 6 in San Diego BUT I found my Gameboy, a really awesome guitar pick, and Super Mario Land.

The positive's outweigh the bad. That's definitely a great example of that statement.

So getting to the title of the video, it's pretty self- explanatory but I will delve deeper to make more sense because that's not a statement many people use often.

Because I'm a little kid and all, people don't take me seriously and I don't even take myself very seriously with this whole internet thing. But when I'm writing scripts and doing work to better my blog and my YouTube channel, I just feel awesome. And I can't wait to get my laptop (hopefully) and get a desk! That would be so cool. I'm just one step closer.

But the main thing (I know it's gonna be weird) is that I want a project board. That's really weird but it's really true. I want a project board to keep track of things, but also to make me feel really awesome. Just because I can.

I like to say that everybody has quirks but I think my quirks near madness. Look out for me when I go crazy.

Sometimes I Feel Like A Genius

Hello gingers! That (not) modest title is because I was thinking about something and I blogged about something and my hero and the smartest guy I know talked about the same thing and I watched that AFTER I had already thought of it in my own head-brain!

I AM A GENIUS.

And again I only feel that way because the person I most look up to also said it. I actually don't feel like I'm a genius.

But I feel especially like less of a genius lately. I don't even know why but I haven't been in a very good mood lately. I feel like there's a bunch of pressure when in reality there isn't.

And naturally once we start thinking bad of ourselves we tend to just find more things to feel bad about and overall more self pity that is not needed or wanted.

For example:
Today was supposed to be my first official day of summer but that was kind of shattered by my brother's illness
My phone is not working the way I want it to.
I'm trying to figure out how I could go to San Antonio but it's stressing me out
And I'm not doing anything right and my life is a pit of despair (kidding)

But I can't help those thoughts coming into my mind. But what did I say kids? If you consciously decide to become a better person you can get those thoughts OUT of your mind and you can become a better person.

I applied it to something a little different but the concept is still very valid and I still think it works to no end.

If you are always consciously aware of what you are thinking and what your being on this planet is, you will always be able to improve. No joke. Try it.

These people have. And I think it's worked.

I know it's long but it's very informative. It makes you think. And I love these two crazy kids.

Keep On Choosing To Think,

Happy Father's Day

Hello gingers! Biscuits and gravy for father's day!

Today we celebrate all fathers. Father's come in many different sizes shapes and forms and today we recognize the importance to cherish each one of them.

So thank you father's of the world for doing all you do! And thank you mother's for letting it happen!

That's all I really have to say today, because you know, it's father's day. What else do you say?

Go spend time with your dad today and if you don't have a dad in your life then let Shay adopt you!

That's it.

Consciously Deciding To Be A Better Person

Hello gingers! Because I'm a socially awkward penguin I have many life instances where I regret what I have said or done or acted or whatnot.

Ever since I started watching the SHAYTARDS and I was inspired to be a better person I have been taking it very seriously. But it is the norm to just follow along with society. For instance, it's a lot easier to not smile and say thank you when you receive your food at an establishment. It is also what a lot of people do. But each and every one of you know that's not right. So how do you fix it?

How do you become this better person that this chick on the internet is ranting about? You have to consciously decide to be a better person before you can become a better person.

Now, I hope I don't seem really obnoxious and I hope I don't seem like I'm boasting that I'm a better person then you because I'm not. I'm trying to share to you my experiences.

Just today I was returning my cart at CostCo to the little cart return place in the parking lot. A gentleman was just coming over to collect all the carts. I gave my cart to him and he thanked me. Instead of thanking him as well for the service he is doing me by taking the cart of my hands I said "no problem."

As soon as I walked away I regretted what I had said. I was in no position to suggest that I'm superior to him when he thanked me and I didn't thank him for the wonderful job he was doing.

But the point of all of this is that consciously, I realized that I had not acted like a polite, kind, person would have acted. I realized the mistake I made and I consciously decided that it wouldn't happen again.

Kindness is one of the greatest qualities you can have. But to achieve it, you must consciously, and purposefully decide that you want to be kind and you want to be a better person, and overall, the greatest person you can possibly be in this world.

It's a big world, and we only have so much time on it. I smile can change someone's whole world. Start changing the world, person by person.

Keep On Being Conscious,
Rachael The Ginger

Zombie Freaking Apocalypse

Hello gingers! I am just really into the whole 'zombie apocalypse' thing right now.

I'm getting like butterflies in my stomach thinking about it, which is really weird. I've always kind of wanted to be put in a situation where it's life threatening, or like a survival type thing because I just want to see if I could handle it. I know that might entail not being able to handle it and dying but I'm just really curious to see what would happen.

I really want to know if I would have the smarts to know what to do and be knowledgeable and be resourceful and be able to get out of the situation I was in. Whether it be a surviving in the woods, crazy people coming into my house, or the zombie apocalypse.

I feel like I have paranoia sometimes but I want to be ready to "test" my knowledge if something did happen.

For example I know where the weapons are in my house. Not to say that there are many, because we don't have any guns in our house and most of the "weapons" are for outdoor purposes. For example we have a small-ish saw in our basement for when we go camping. My dad has a knife that he keeps in his backpack when he goes hiking. We don't have a lot but I know where things are just in case.

I think I would know where to go if an outbreak happened. I know that I sound crazy, but I can assure you, I'm not. I just think the idea is really cool, haha.

I've just made myself sound really, really crazy. Dang it.

A Series Of Sitting

Hello gingers! Today I'm going to talk about traveling now that I'm back home.

So we were eating dinner at the Li'hue Airport and my mom says, "Do we want to go to our next sitting place?" suggesting to the fact that we might want to go to the airport terminal and wait to board our plane.

That got me thinking and I did realize that traveling is just a series of sitting.

You will sit in the car to get to where you need to be to travel. You will then sit to eat here and there and just sit in various places in wherever you are planning to travel. Then, you will commence the actual movement of travel by sitting in an airplane, or train, or car, or subway, or whatever. Then you will sit in a car or whatever to get to your actual destination. Then you will sit in various places in your destination. And then you will start the whole thing over again when you go back.

Traveling is a series of sitting places and staring at various walls.

I really do hate traveling but I'm glad to be back.

Oh Yeah, I'm Going To Hawaii Tomorrow

Hello gingers! If the title doesn't tell you enough, I'm going to Hawaii tomorrow.

I'll have to be phone blogging as in the 140 character stupid blogs for about 8 days. That's the only way it's going to work considering that my ipod is gone. Shed a tear for my ipod.

It's gonna be really exciting and really freaking awesome. The only con is that I have to get up at 3 in the morning tomorrow. But then we are off to the Aloha State.

I'm excited. You should be excited too. Lots of blogging will take place after the trip about the trip. Go Miss Traveler.

And for our "cool thing on the internet thing" part of the blog we are going to keep it mind numbing, and simple.

It's not really mind numbing but it's something to relax you and make your day a little better.

Kristen Stewart And The Hemsworth

Hello gingers! So I saw Snow White and the Huntsman today.

It was pretty good. Kristen Stewart kind of had some redeeming qualities in this flick I think. I don't even think the internet will be picking this movie apart. It was pretty good.

I loved the cinematography was phenomenal and just the whole magic aspect was good. Most movies with magic usually screw it up but this was really good.

Don't even get me started on the Queen. I hope that wins some Emmy's because that was superb and perfect.

Overall I really liked it. Go see it.

So in honor of the movie for our "cool thing on the internet thing" part of the blog, here's a trailer.

Writing Videos

Hello gingers! Last night I was up late writing out videos.

I have found it so much more satisfying to actually write out what I want to make before I just go out and make it.

I'm definitely just a person that's like "just do it" but sometimes that does not go very well as you can see from some of my past videos.

Planning it out, and thinking about how I'm going to make things work, and just thinking about how funny it's actually going to be I think is going to be a lot better in the long run.

I also tend to get flooded with a bunch of ideas at a time. I found that it's much better to write those ideas down and kind of flush out the bad stupid ones by just thinking about them. And that's why I'm losing the schedule.

And now for our "cool thing on the internet thing" part of the blog I give you this.

This web series is really awesome and creative. Watch all the episodes so far! The last one is crazy!

Swinging Back

Hello gingers! If you guys could understand the stuff that goes through my mind at night, it would be pretty amazing.

I uploaded a new video and I was just really proud of myself for getting back into the swing of things. I hadn't had a new video in a while and I honestly think that this one is a good one.

I'm just really nervous and a lot of other emotions about the new youtube. I'm posting a video about that today too.

I don't think that doing these videos is my future. I think daily vlogging is where I'm going to excel much more in the youtube world. I don't even really enjoy making those videos as much as I just like vlogging.

So I search for flip cams...

And that pretty much wraps up today. That's seriously pretty much it.

Because I'm stupid I'll promote my stupid video for our "cool thing on the internet today thing" part of the blog.

There you go.

Keep On Swinging,
